JodiBiodata is a tool for making marriage biodatas, wedding cards, family invitations, surprise invitations and remembrance cards at jodibiodata.com. This page explains what happens to your details. To reach the operator of the site, write to support@jodibiodata.com.

What stays on your device

• The form, your photo, your guest list, your surprise-invitation draft, your chosen design and any unlock key are saved in your browser's storage on this device, so your work is still there when you come back. They are not sent to us for this.
• PDF, JPEG, PNG and Word downloads are made inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded to make them.
• On a shared phone or computer, anyone using that browser can see this saved data. Clearing the browser's site data for jodibiodata.com removes it.

What we store if you create a share link

Nothing is stored on our server until you tick the confirmations on the link screen and create a link. We then store:

• A picture of your card. It shows everything on the card, including any photo, phone number, date of birth, family details, a guest's name on a guest-name card, a child's name or photo, and anything else you added.
• The name on the card, the design and the card language.
• The date the link was made, a secret delete key, and a record that you gave the confirmations and when.

We do not store the typed form fields separately. Links made before 2 November 2026 may also hold those fields, including ones not shown on the card. They are removed when the link expires or is deleted, and you can ask us to delete one sooner.

We use this only to show the link to the people you send it to, and to let you delete it. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who can see a share link

• Anyone who has the link can see the card. We can't control who it gets forwarded to, or stop screenshots and downloads.
• We ask search engines not to list share pages or their images. A search engine or other service may still ignore that.
• If you send the link on WhatsApp or a similar app, that app may keep its own copy of the preview image. We can't delete those copies.

How long we keep it, and how to delete it

• A share link and its image are deleted automatically 180 days after you make it or last update it.
• To delete sooner, use My links under the card on the home page, on the same device and browser where you made the link. The delete key is kept in that browser only.
• If you've lost access to that browser, or the link shows you without your permission, email support@jodibiodata.com with the link. We may ask you to show that the request is genuine before deleting.
• After deletion your browser may keep showing the image for a few minutes because of normal caching.

Surprise invitations

What you write in a surprise invitation, including your letter, your question, the ticket details and any phone number, stays inside the link and is never sent to our server. Your draft is kept in your browser on this device. Anyone who has the link can read all of it, and a link can't be taken back once it is sent. Please write only what you are happy for your guests to see. If a guest replies on WhatsApp, that reply goes straight to you through WhatsApp, not through us.

Guest lists and CSV files

A guest list, typed or from a CSV file, stays in your browser on this device, and the cards are made there. The file is never uploaded. If you choose Get a link on a card with a guest's name, the picture stored on our server shows that one guest's name. Please add only people you are really inviting.

Bureau early-access requests

The form on the page for marriage bureaus sends nothing to our server. It opens your own email app with a message to us, and we receive only what you choose to send. We use it only to reply about early access.

AI assistants and our MCP server

An AI assistant can connect to jodibiodata.com/mcp to read products and prices and to make links. We don't store or log what it sends. If it sends a key, the key passes through our server once so that we can ask Dodo whether it is valid. If it builds a surprise invitation, the words go only into the link it gets back. We keep only an anonymous count of how often each tool is used. What you tell an assistant is covered by that assistant's own policy, not ours.

Payments

A one-time pass (also called the premium unlock) is paid through Dodo Payments. Your card or UPI details and your email go to Dodo, under Dodo's own privacy policy, and we don't receive your card or UPI details. Dodo emails you an unlock key and passes it to this site when you return from payment.

The key is saved in your browser so that you can use it again. When you unlock, it passes through our server once so that we can ask Dodo whether it is valid. We don't store the key itself on our server and we don't write it to our logs. We keep a one-way code made from the key, with a random id for each browser that used it, so that a key stays within its 2 devices. For a browser that can't save that id, we count how many times that code was checked today. For a one-design purchase we also keep the design it opened, so that the same design opens on your other device.

Other services we rely on

• Cloudflare hosts the site and stores share links. Cloudflare may store and serve this data from locations around the world, including outside India. It also processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, referring sites, countries and page speed without cookies.
• Step counts. We count how many people reach each step, such as opening a page, starting the form, picking a design, making a file or buying the pass, and which of our links brought them. These counts, kept with Cloudflare, hold only the step, the page, the design and format, the language, whether the screen is small and, if you came straight from an AI assistant, its name. They never hold your name, details, photo, key or IP address, and they use no cookie or visitor ID. Your browser remembers the last link you came through for 30 days, so that a sale can be credited to it.
• Google Fonts supplies the fonts, and cdnjs and jsDelivr supply the code libraries for the export buttons. Your browser fetches these directly, so those services see your IP address.

Abuse limits and counters

To stop abuse we keep a count of link-creation and delete attempts against your IP address (or the first part of it, for IPv6). These counts are deleted within 48 hours. We also keep total counts, such as how many links were made and which page sent a visitor. Those totals are not linked to you.

Other people's details and under-18s

• A biodata often names parents and siblings. Only add other people's details if they are comfortable with that, and only create a link for someone else with their agreement.
• The marriage biodata is only for people aged 18 or older. You can't create a biodata link if the date of birth shows the person is under 18. If you find a biodata about someone under 18, please report it using the link on that page. Baby and birthday cards can name a child, and only a parent or guardian should make them. We don't offer share links on naming-ceremony, baby or first-birthday cards, so those details stay on your device unless you send the card yourself.

Your rights

If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 gives you rights including access to your data, correction, erasure, nominating someone to act for you, and raising a grievance. You can use these rights by writing to support@jodibiodata.com. Please put "Data request" or "Grievance" in the subject line.
